Want to Get Married, Celebrate Your Birthday? Surprise Your Parents with an Anniversary Party? Retiring? Descendants is a unique, fun and creative space for your next special event.
Our venue is perfect for weddings, corporate functions, product launches, speaker series, holiday celebrations and anything else you're looking to host.
Descendants is centrally located in Waterloo Region. We offer a full Brewery Buy-out option for larger events. Our total capacity of 135 guests. We can host 35-80 guests in our semi-private area or smaller groups for a reservation.
Due to COVID19 restrictions, at this time we can only host events up to 10 guests. We can book larger events for the future.

GENERAL RESERVATIONS & GAME NIGHT RESERVATIONS (GAME NIGHT RESERVATIONS CURRENTLY CANCELED DUE TO COVID-19)
We host Game Nights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Tuesday: TV Trivia 8:00 pm
Wednesdays Trivial Dispute 7:00 pm
Thursdays: Musical Bingo 8:00 pm
Each Week the Musical Bingo themes vary. Please see our Events page for theme information.
Reservations are not confirmed until you receive a confirmation email from Descendants.
Reservations do not book a specific area of the building or biergarten. Descendants reserves the right to choose the area of the building reserved for your party.
Reservations are only be held for 15 minutes past the agreed upon start time.
Descendants offers fast casual service which means guests order their food and drink at the bar. Masks must be worn when walking around the brewery and ordering at the bar.
Descendants retail store remains open to the public during all events and closes at 11:00 pm at the latest.
Although we have parking, we do ask guests to be responsible and take a cab, public transit, ride share or plan a ride if they intend to drink. We do not endorse or promote parking at any of our neighbouring businesses without expressed permission.
