Whats on at Descendants for the week of November 27 - December 3rd

Tuesday:

Gilmore Girls Trivia

Your host Rebecca will quiz you on your knowledge of the Stars Hollow fast talking mother daughter duo! Play alone or as a team. Prizes for the winners!

Wednesday:

Friendly Feud at 8:00pm with your exuberant host Steve!

We had such a blast at last week's launch! Congratulations to the winning team The Second Guessers!

Thursday:

Nacho bar starts at 5:00pm and Music Bingo starts at 8:00pm. This weeks theme is Disney. We are soooo excited for this one.

Friday:

Buck a Shuck Oysters from Caudle's Catch Seafood start at 5:00pm and we serve them until they're gone. Get here early to make sure you get some!

Local Live with Kevin Coates starts at 7:00pm. With a career that spans over 25 years in the local music scene, we at Descendants are feeling quite humbled by this man's presence. As a musician, he delivers with introspective lyrics and evocative melodies on piano, acoustic guitar and global percussion.

Saturday:

Live music from the amazing Lucas Stagg starts at 8:00pm.

Sunday:

For all who still believe in Santa Clause the big man himself will be here ready to pose for photos and receive your holiday wish lists. We've got Photos with Santa from 10:00am - 1:30pm. Bonus: There's $5 grilled cheese special for the kids.

New Beer Alert!

We are launching our brand new Golden Chai Ale in partnership with Extend-A-Family Waterloo Region. The launch party is from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Named for Edna Rhoda this beer celebrates inclusion and International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Doctors had said, "Edna, just put her in an institution."

A daughter born with Down syndrome, Edna Rhoda wanted her child to live a full and meaningful life. Born in the ‘50s, during a time when people with disabilities were living out their lives in segregated institutions, Edna said no.

And instead of sending her daughter to live her life in an institution, Edna watched her daughter Sandra grow. Sandra earned her education. Sandra worked for public health and had friends. Sandra was a part of her community, right here in Waterloo Region.

We also have live music from local musician Rosella for this weeks Sounds of Sunday! She goes on at 6:30pm.
